1990-1994 Lisa's History
In 1990 I was 9 years old and our lives were about to change. Mama and I left Melvin in 1991 and it was us against the world. Our first home was a single wide trailer that we thought would blow up any day by the way the furnace sounded. We then got uptown and moved to a 1 bedroom apartment across the street and then finally a 2 bedroom apartment at the top of the stairs. It was a good time - we were poor, but I was happy overall. There isn't room here for my life story, but those are the highlights.
Jack graduated from high school in 1991 and joined the Navy shortly thereafter.
